The Andean Memory Art Exhibition on the Road of the Dragon Opens in Beijing.

Recently, the Andean Memory Art Exhibition, held along the Dragon’s Path, opened at the Jintai Art Gallery in Beijing. This exhibition brings together  acrylic and watercolor by Bolivian artists Jaime Guarachi and Neva Camacho, using art as a bridge to foster dialogue and cultural exchange between China and Bolivia. The exhibited works blend the vibrant colors of the Andean highlands, indigenous brushstrokes, and the artistic spirit of Chinese landscape painting, creating a distinctive visual language.

In his speech, Bolivian Ambassador to China Hugo Siles stated that the works exhibited this time ingeniously blend the majestic spirit of the Andes Mountains with the ethereal charm of Chinese landscape paintings, thus building a visual bridge between Bolivia and China. They bring together the memories, land, and traditions of Andean culture within a single frame, vividly embodying the contemporary significance of cultural exchange and mutual learning.

Ms. Luo Xiao, Deputy Director of the Beijing Jintai Art Museum, stated that the two artists, while rooted in local culture, adopt an open-minded perspective to integrate elements from various civilizations, thereby embodying the profound meaning that “art knows no borders, and resonance knows no limits.”

At the opening ceremony, Bolivian artist Jaime Guarachi stated that the works in this exhibition aim to build cultural bridges through color, form, and symbolic imagery, creating a space for encounter and meditation that transcends geographical distances.
